The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, HMI development, servo motion control, and electrical schematic design. This role requires a hands-on approach to machine automation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, high-quality control systems.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and layout electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with UL508A and NEC standards.<\/li>\n<li>Select and integrate sensors, pneumatic control components, and commercial automation products (e.g., photo sensors, vision systems, bar code readers, hot melt systems) based on company standards and customer specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, modify, and debug PLC, HMI, and servo motion control programs.<\/li>\n<li>Create electrical schematics, documentation and bills of materials based on project requirements and customer specifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Be proficient in every control aspect from budgeting time, cost control, choosing quality and reliable product<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with Mechanical Engineering teams to integrate electrical and mechanical components.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot control systems over the phone and on-site with customers.<\/li>\n<li>Travel to customer locations for system installation, modifications, and aftermarket electrical control support (25% overnight travel).<\/li>\n<li>Train and mentor entry-level Electrical Controls Engineers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Assist in the development of standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed within the department<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI development, and AutoCAD.<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in machine automation, electrical schematic design, and motion control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical design; experience with SolidWorks Electrical is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in commercial automation products such as photo sensors, pneumatics, and vision systems.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in PLC programming, HMI development, and multi-axis coordinated motion control.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of machine timing and industrial wiring concepts.<\/li>\n<li>Strong electro-mechanical skills with a hands-on approach to system troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-driven and project goal-oriented individual<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with 70% behind the desk work and 30% on the floor testing when in the plant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with electrical schematic software such as AutoCAD Light or SolidWorks Electrical.<\/li>\n<li>Prior exposure to industrial automation and machine design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical PPO Company paid 100 % for Employee and about 90% for dependents.<\/li>\n<li>Dental PPO Plan \u2013 Company paid 100 % for Employee<\/li>\n<li>Vision plan PPO Plan<\/li>\n<li>Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)\u00a0$1,500 for Employee and $3,000 for Family annually<\/li>\n<li>EAP \u2013 Employee Assistance Program<\/li>\n<li>Life insurance ($25,000 Basic and Supplemental options)<\/li>\n<li>Accidental Death &amp;
