{"id":23665,"date":"2026-01-08T20:14:08","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T20:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/accounting-tax-treasury-officer\/"},"modified":"2026-03-31T16:03:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T16:03:06","slug":"017274","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/job\/017274\/","title":{"rendered":"Accounting, Tax &amp; Treasury &#8211; Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The position is responsible for all accounting and finance management issues for the company&#039;s business. <\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial books and records, performing monthly\/quarterly closing, performing monthly GL account and process reconciliations, assisting with customer billing and customer payment applications in the loan\/lease accounting system, and overall review of loan and lease transactions. <\/p>\n<p>The role also entails taking part in internal\/external audits and maintaining compliance with company rules and regulations.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>To be considered for the position, the candidate should possess a bachelor&#039;s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and at least 3 years of accounting experience in the financial industry is preferred.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Proficiency in Excel at an advanced level is a must, and having Japanese language skills would be an added advantage.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#039;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related major or equivalent, MA\/MS\/MBA preferred<\/li>\n<li>Working experience in financial services is required.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required<\/li>\n<li>Strong accounting and analytical skills are required<\/li>\n<li>Highly detail-oriented with an aptitude and desire to learn new products, conduct research, and display critical thinking and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>M.S.
