{"id":23648,"date":"2026-01-08T19:26:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T19:26:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/container-design-and-bottle-inspection-engineer\/"},"modified":"2026-01-12T20:28:02","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T20:28:02","slug":"container-design-and-bottle-inspection-engineer","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/job\/container-design-and-bottle-inspection-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"Container Design and Bottle Inspection Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A Japanese company in the Smyrna, GA area is looking for a Container Design and Bottle Inspection Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hours: <\/strong>Monday\u2013Friday, 8:00 a.m.\u20135:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary: <\/strong>$52K\u2013$58K (DOE)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits: <\/strong>Strong benefit package included (PTO, health, dental, vision, etc.)<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This position is primarily responsible for conducting detailed inspections on bottles and preparing accurate and detailed drawings from rough sketches, notes, or by reverse-engineering sample containers.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Product Design, or related field)<\/li>\n<li>1\u20132 years of related experience and\/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PTC Creo\/ProEngineer preferred; other 3D CAD software acceptable.<\/li>\n<li>Strong 2D and 3D geometric reasoning; ability to apply mathematical and statistical concepts.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to conduct both destructive and non-destructive tests on sample containers (compression, vacuum, impact, dimensional, and capacity measurements).<\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing inspection reports and analyzing data (e.g., Cpk levels).<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with 3D scanning and 3D printing for design evaluation and mockup creation.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing and checking drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Must work effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Mold Design, and factories in Japan and India.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in both written and spoken English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct bottle inspections including compression, vacuum, drop impact, dimensional, and wall thickness testing.<\/li>\n<li>Create detailed 3D virtual models using surface and solid modeling techniques in PTC Creo and SolidWorks.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and modify 2D drawings for customer approval and manufacturing requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate technical documentation (proposal sheets, revision histories, feasibility studies).<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate designs for feasibility, cavitation, and cycle time.<\/li>\n<li>Manage project data, including drawing files, inspection reports, and database entries.<\/li>\n<li>Operate and maintain 3D printers and prepare mockup models for customer evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Handle sample bottle storage, cataloging, and shipment.<\/li>\n<li>Input data into CRM systems and spreadsheets.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical and detail-oriented<\/li>\n<li>Creative design and innovation skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer service orientation<\/li>\n<li>Sound judgment and professionalism<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time management and organizational support<\/li>\n<li>Safety and quality focused<\/li>\n<li>Travel<\/li>\n<li>Less than 10%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, please send your resume to jwilliams@pasona.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-23648","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
