This role involves supervising the maintenance team, coordinating repairs, managing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong leadership and project management skills, and respond quickly to maintenance issues.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Department Leadership &amp; Management<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tOversee the overall operations of the maintenance department.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tDirect and manage all maintenance personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and task delegation.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tMonitor and control maintenance expenses, ensuring budget adherence.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tFoster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing as needed.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tParticipate in weekly meetings to update senior management on ongoing and upcoming projects.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Facility Maintenance &amp; Repair<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tConduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tEnsure timely repairs and maintenance of buildings, machinery, and equipment.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tWork closely with production supervisors and technicians to resolve technical problems.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tOversee tool availability and ensure proper equipment inventory management.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tSupervise quality standards for work performed by outside contractors.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tEnsure a safe working environment in compliance with company policies and federal\/state regulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tRespond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Project &amp; Preventive Maintenance Management<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tPlan, coordinate, and execute maintenance and repair projects efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tImplement and oversee a preventive maintenance program.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tTrack and document maintenance schedules, inspections, and work orders.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tReview deficiencies identified during corrective maintenance and ensure proper resolution.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tAssist in new facility development, including negotiations with city officials when necessary.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Technical Expertise &amp; Hands-On Support<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tProvide hands-on support for equipment repairs when necessary.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tManage purchase orders (POs) for maintenance supplies, ensuring cost efficiency and timely procurement.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tEnsure invoices are reviewed, approved, and verified promptly before being passed to Accounts Payable (AP) for processing.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tEnsure team members are trained and equipped with the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tProven experience as a R&amp;M Manager or similar leadership role in<strong> FOODS Manufacturing plants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tStrong knowledge of maintenance operations, including commercial plumbing, electrical systems, refrigeration, and motor-driven systems.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tWorking knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tAbility to multitask, prioritize, and respond quickly to maintenance needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tFlexibility to work off-hours in case of emergencies.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills &amp;
