{"id":23577,"date":"2026-01-06T23:01:45","date_gmt":"2026-01-06T23:01:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/plant-manager-fresh-produce%ef%bc%89-japanese-bilingual\/"},"modified":"2026-01-22T01:59:37","modified_gmt":"2026-01-22T01:59:37","slug":"plant-manager-fresh-produce%ef%bc%89-japanese-bilingual","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/job\/plant-manager-fresh-produce%ef%bc%89-japanese-bilingual\/","title":{"rendered":"Plant Manager (Fresh Produce\uff09- Japanese Bilingual"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong style=\"font-size: 16px\">Position: Plant Manager <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Company: Fresh Produce Manufacturing Company<\/p>\n<p>Location: Ontario, CA<\/p>\n<p>Salary Range: $90,000-120,000\/ year DOE<\/p>\n<p>FLSA: Exempt<\/p>\n<p>Work Hours: M-F 2 AM &#8211; 12 Pm (1 hour break)<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary\/Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The plant manager position directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee and manage all aspects of production, including planning, scheduling, and optimizing production processes to meet quality and quantity targets.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that production runs efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining product quality and safety standards.<\/li>\n<li>Implement production improvement initiatives and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and reduce waste.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the facilities are cleaned and up to corporate and FDA Standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following duties are not exhaustive but illustrate the general duties required of the position. Management may require personnel to perform duties other than those contained in this document.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate plant activities by planning with departmental managers to ensure the achievement of manufacturing objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.<\/li>\n<li>Manage productions yields and report on it during meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Assistant Plant Manager for repair and maintenance needs.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze, create and review yield reports and report in manager meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Ask Assistant Plant Manager to maintain existing plant facilities and equipment, replacing or making adjustments as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards with assistant plant manager.<\/li>\n<li>Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Host and Participate in meeting and trainings,\n<ul>\n<li>Create meeting minutes for Team leader meetings<\/li>\n<li>Ensure employees are available for safety training.<\/li>\n<li>Routinely ensure workers are wearing Personal Protective Equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Assume responsibility for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and training to achieve company goals and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Provides direction, development and leadership to production supervisors.<\/li>\n<li>Interview and assess new candidates for positions in the factory plant.<\/li>\n<li>Managing factory plant employee relations, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication between employees and management.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct performance evaluations and implement staff development programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as a Plant Manager or 5+ years as an Assistant Plant Manager preferably <strong>in the food production industry<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of vegetable processing and food safety regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of facility machines and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong Analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>May need to work off-hours in case of emergencies.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li><strong>English\/Japanese Bilingual<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, Food Science or a related field is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Effective leadership and management abilities<\/li>\n<li>Communication Proficiency &#8211;
