Located in the Science + Technology Park at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, they benefit from an ideal research environment with state-of-the-art facilities.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Temp position<\/p>\n<p>Pay rate: $25-30\/hour<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The company is seeking a Web\u202f&amp;\u202fIT\u202fSystems Specialist to lead their online presence and digital\u2011marketing operations while optimizing internal IT systems and supporting new application roll\u2011outs. Although core infrastructure is managed by the Group IT team, this on\u2011site role will be the go\u2011to specialist for website performance, marketing\u2011tech execution, and day\u2011to\u2011day IT workflow improvements.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">Website\u202f&amp;\u202fDigital\u202fMarketing Support<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage, update, and enhance the corporate WordPress site, ensuring uptime, accessibility, and optimal page\u2011load performance.<\/li>\n<li>Administer domains, DNS records, and SSL certificates.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor traffic and engagement via Google\u202fAnalytics (or similar), producing actionable SEO and UX improvement plans.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support for digital\u2011marketing initiatives (e\u2011mail campaigns, webinars, landing pages, marketing\u2011automation integrations).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">Application Implementation &amp; Support<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Deploy, configure, and maintain no\u2011code\/low\u2011code and custom applications that streamline business processes.<\/li>\n<li>Design and refine data flows between Google\u202fWorkspace, Google\u202fCloud, and MySQL databases.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate escalations with external vendors and Group\u202fIT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">IT Systems Operations<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee company hardware (servers, PCs, peripherals); organize and maintain the data closet; perform device imaging and setup.<\/li>\n<li>Enforce security best practices and compliance standards (account management, patching, access controls).<\/li>\n<li>Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs); deliver regular status and improvement reports to stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">Collaboration &amp; Communication<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with our group IT support team and IT vendors to ensure seamless communication and support.<\/li>\n<li>Provide clear, timely updates and reports on IT operations, improvements, and security enhancements to internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\"><u>Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of hands-on experience in web administration, IT operations, or application support.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with WordPress, Google\u202fWorkspace (especially Sheets and Docs), Google\u202fCloud, and MySQL.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of SEO tools and Google\u202fAnalytics.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to document and simplify complex workflows; strong analytical and communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">Employment Type<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Temp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">Job Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IT Operations, Application Support, Security Management, Workflow Optimization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">Work Environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u30fbThe company is located at the Science and Technology Park of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The role is primarily office-based within a collaborative, supportive team environment that encourages professional growth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">Physical demands:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Primarily desk-based work with extended periods of computer-based tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Regular activities include checking and organizing the data closet, moving server and hardware equipment when necessary, and configuring PCs and other devices.<\/li>\n<li>Frequent use of hands for data entry and device handling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">Position Type and Expected Hours of Work<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9am \u2013 5pm.
