Base Salary:<\/strong> $90,000 \u2013 $110,000<\/h2>\n

Working hours : 9-5 pm<\/p>\n

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Associate<\/strong> to take ownership of daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international investment environment while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and integrity across all financial processes.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Accounting<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Manage daily bookkeeping and general ledger activities in coordination with external accounting partners.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure timely financial reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Finance<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP)<\/strong> and Accounts Receivable (AR)<\/strong> to ensure timely and accurate processing.<\/li>\n
    • Monitor and manage cash flow, including preparing short-term forecasts and liquidity reports.<\/li>\n
    • Assist with budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning to support management decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Operations & Compliance<\/strong><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.<\/li>\n
      • Support compliance and internal control initiatives.<\/li>\n
      • Perform additional duties as required to support business operations and strategic goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n
          \n
        • 3+ years<\/strong> of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including bookkeeping and AP\/AR management.<\/li>\n
        • Strong understanding of US GAAP<\/strong> and financial reporting standards.<\/li>\n
        • Experience in supporting audits and preparing audit documentation.<\/li>\n
        • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.<\/li>\n
        • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        • Effective written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • Legally authorized to work in the United States.<\/li>\n
          • Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese<\/strong> (reading and writing required).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
