{"id":23452,"date":"2025-12-16T22:49:43","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T22:49:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pasona.aukrim.net\/job\/senior-accounting-associate\/"},"modified":"2026-01-30T19:47:24","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T19:47:24","slug":"senior-accounting-associate","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/job\/senior-accounting-associate\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Accounting Associate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Sr. Accounting Associate.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position<\/strong>: Sr. Accounting Associate<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>: Toronto Ontario (In Office 5 days per week)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Working Hours<\/strong>: 9:00AM- 5:00PM<\/p>\n<p><strong>Employment Status<\/strong>: Permanent Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong>: $70-75,000 per year (Depending on experience) + Full Benefits<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sr. Accounting Associate has primary responsibility for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic internal and external financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company&#039;s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting or Finance is highly desirable<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 CPA designation or is qualified to sit CFE ( CPA exam&#039;s final)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Minimum 3 years of related experience<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Experience in SAP is an asset<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Primary day-to-day responsibility for reporting, planning, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company including direct responsibility for internal and external accounting, working capital finance, operational job costings and financial analysis, budget preparations for annual planning and new business proposals.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Providing timely and accurate month end closing process including reconciliations of general ledger accounts, preparation of monthly financial statements, report and analysis of various budgets, financial trends and forecasts.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain a strong emphasis on internal controls and compliance<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Prepare year-end financial statements and manage preparation of external financial statements with public accountants.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Make recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS and all applicable federal, provincial and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Passionately strive to provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to self-start and manage special projects as assigned<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Please forward your resume to and direct all inquiries to:<\/p>\n<p>Attn: Fumie Wada<\/p>\n<p>Pasona Canada Inc.<\/p>\n<p>fwada@pasona.com<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We thank all applicants in advance for their interest.
