Major Responsibilities:
The Chief Operating Officer will direct and manage all activities associated with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Materials Management, Scheduling, Quality, Design Engineering and Sales. This position is responsible for efficient and economical engineering and manufacturing of company products in conformance with established goals and objectives, but will also be required to continuously update and improve these metrics. The COO will be responsible for the timely and successful transition of the entire operations organization to a level of performance identifiable with ISO organizations utilizing lean production and continual improvement techniques by direct participation in the running of the day to day activities of the company to meet and exceed customer expectations. This position is also responsible for formulation and adherence to annual budgets for all of the above departments, and will be actively involved in the development and execution of the Company’s strategy and achieving the financial and operational metrics approved by the firm’s Board of Directors.
As Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will have complete P&L responsibility and full functional accountability, and be responsible for the development and execution of the strategic plan, while reporting to the Board of Directors.
